Three Battles stance (Sanchin-dachi)
Sanchin-dachi (三戦立, three battles stance) the feet are wider than the shoulder width slightly pointing inwards. Legs and buttocks should be tensed upwards, while keeping the weight low and the knees bent inwards. This stance has strong tension in the legs. The toes of the back foot are in the same line as the heel of the front foot.
